About Us

ESWAYDI is a non-profit, non-government development organization committed to improving the lives of people, through participation and empowerment. It was established in the FCT, Abuja, and is registered in 2011 under the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Act 1990. ESWAYDI has grown into a vibrant organisation working with a range of people across multiple sectors. ESWAYDI implements programs in various sectors, catering to the needs of vulnerable communities.

The organization believes that there is no simple solution to reduce/eradicate poverty. As such, in order to overcome poverty, it is necessary to address the range of issues that poor people face on a daily basis. Tackling issues in an integrated, sustainable manner,
we aim to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable people in the communities.

Our focus
ESWAYDI focuses on promoting good governance in the development areas that have a direct impact on poor and vulnerable groups, especially youth (women and men). These areas, amongst other includes: clean air, education, clean energy, water and sanitation, healthcare, and climate change. We give special attention to underserved and marginalized locations in rural communities
